SP government receives bids for Administrative Center auction on Monday

The São Paulo government is set to receive proposals from companies for the construction of a new Administrative Center next week, a significant project for Governor Tarcísio de Freitas.

One of the most ambitious projects under Governor Tarcísio de Freitas's administration, the New Administrative Center is reaching critical stages next week with the submission of bids from interested construction companies. On Monday, companies will present their envelopes, which will be submitted both in person and online at B3 until 11 am. A public auction for the project is scheduled for Thursday, attended by Governor Tarcísio and state secretaries.

This R$ 6 billion investment aims to construct seven office buildings and ten towers in the Campos Elíseos area. The new center is intended to centralize the governor's cabinet, state secretaries, and various state agencies, which are currently scattered across more than 40 different locations throughout the city. The project anticipates accommodating approximately 22,000 state employees and will include facilities such as a theater, auditoriums, and multi-purpose rooms.

In addition to constructing the office buildings, the initiative also includes the restoration of 17 historically significant properties and plans to increase green areas in the Princess Isabel park by over 40%. This development reflects the government's ongoing commitment to modernizing public administration while preserving the city's cultural heritage through restoration and enhancement of public spaces.
