The Brazilian Navy has announced the opening of applications for a total of 1,680 marine positions across the country, with 39 vacancies available in Ladário, Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). This initiative aims to attract young candidates aged between 18 and 22 years who are interested in serving as marines. The registration period is set to run until March 20, with the date for the competitive examination to be announced later.

Out of the 39 positions available in MS, 35 are allocated for men and 4 for women, reflecting the ongoing efforts to balance gender representation within the armed forces. In addition to the vacancies in Ladário, other positions are being offered in several major cities including Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, and Brasília, emphasizing the nationwide scope of this recruitment drive. Candidates must possess a complete high school education or be in their final stages of completion, further promoting educational attainment among young applicants.

In terms of physical requirements, candidates must meet strict criteria including height restrictions ranging from 1.54 to 2 meters and the absence of tattoos on the head, face, or front neck.
