New bus routes go into effect in Manaus; check the changes
Manaus is implementing new bus routes aimed at improving public transport and accessibility in the city's West Zone starting from Thursday.
Starting Thursday, September 19, Manaus will see changes in its public transportation system, as announced by the local government aiming to enhance service and speed up travel in the West Zone. The key update is the introduction of line 003, which will provide a direct connection from Terminal 7 (T7) to the Campos Sales neighborhood. This route will travel along Torquato TapajΓ³s Avenue and will also serve the Pontal da Cachoeira community, allowing residents easier access to key areas of the city.
In addition to the new line, line 005 will also undergo modifications to its itinerary, focusing on better servicing the Vivenda Verde road and the Eram shipyard. These adjustments are designed to cater to local demands for more efficient transportation options. The city officials believe that the changes will not only improve the flow of traffic but also provide greater convenience for residents commuting within the zone.
These new modifications underscore the city's efforts to continuously optimize public transport services amidst growing urban demands. The adjustments are expected to facilitate easier commuting for residents while addressing specific needs of different neighborhoods. As these changes take effect, city officials are anticipating positive feedback from the community as they adjust to the new routes and schedules.
