Kalve Coffee plans to increase profitability in existing markets and start operations in Portugal
Kalve Coffee is set to expand its operations into Portugal and increase its profitability in current markets, including opening a new café in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Kalve Coffee is making strategic plans to enhance its profitability in existing markets while also aiming for international expansion, including a new venture in Portugal. The company is also opening a new café in Vilnius, Lithuania, demonstrating its commitment to growth in the Baltic region. Furthermore, the management noted a lower level of competition in the B2B sector in Estonia, which presents an opportunity for Kalve Coffee to develop this sector further.
In addition to physical expansion, Kalve Coffee is investing significantly in e-commerce development and exploring new markets to diversify its presence and revenue streams. According to recent financial reports, the company anticipates an EBITDA of around 400,000 euros by 2026, a promising indication of its growth trajectory. Last year, Kalve Coffee reported a turnover of 5.3 million euros, which is an impressive 55% increase compared to the previous year.
The company has demonstrated robust investment strategies by allocating 1.4 million euros towards capital investments and other business development costs last year. With plans to open seven new cafés across cities including Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, and Paris by 2025 and a significant increase in coffee machine rentals, Kalve Coffee is positioning itself strategically for continued growth in both local and international markets.
