Good news for KFC fans: talks about restaurant expansion in Lithuania have begun

KFC plans to expand its presence in Lithuania with new restaurant openings in the coming years.

KFC, initiated its journey in the Baltic states from Lithuania, continues to view the country as a crucial market with significant growth potential. Toomas Tiivelis, the head of Apollo Group, announced that the group aims to enhance its operations in Lithuania, which currently includes 37 locations, encompassing both restaurants and cinemas. In the coming years, Apollo Group plans to open about 130 new venues across the Baltics and Finland, with approximately 30 of those located in Lithuania.

Additionally, Tiivelis highlighted the growth potential for other brands under Apollo Group's portfolio, including Delano and CanCan, which were recently acquired to accelerate their expansion and development. There is a strong belief that the Lithuanian market still holds numerous untapped opportunities for these restaurant brands. The expansion strategy aims not only to increase the number of restaurants but also to strengthen their positions as appealing dining options for both daily dining and family outings.

This significant growth in the fast-food sector underscores the evolving dining landscape in Lithuania, with KFC looking to capture more of the market share. The introduction of new eateries is expected to enhance consumer choice and potentially stimulate local economies, providing more jobs and contributing to overall economic growth in the region.
