A 26-year-old man was arrested in Central de Minas after being caught stealing a liter of engine oil from a gas station on a Wednesday. The Military Police, who apprehended the suspect, reported that he had been involved in a series of thefts throughout the city just minutes before his arrest. Upon questioning, the man admitted to these prior crimes, indicating a pattern of theft in the area.

The police report detailed the circumstances of the arrest, stating that officers found the man leaving the gas station without paying for the lubricating oil. The gas station manager confirmed the theft, indicating that the man had taken the oil and fled on a motorcycle. When authorities searched the suspect's backpack, they discovered numerous stolen items from two nearby supermarkets, highlighting his recent criminal activity.

Among the stolen goods recovered were a piece of beef, a package of biscuits, powdered milk, oregano, guava paste, three cans of energy drink, and two boxes of tea.
