Herdez closes 2025 on the rise
Grupo Herdez reported a significant increase in net profit for Q4 2025, reaching 568 million pesos, up 66 percent year-over-year.
Grupo Herdez, led by Héctor Hernández-Pons Torres, announced a notable rise in its majority net profit for the fourth quarter of 2025, which reached 568 million pesos. This represents a 66 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024, where the profit was 342 million pesos. The company attributed this surge to improved efficiency in its financial and operational processes, highlighting its ability to navigate the market effectively even in challenging economic conditions.
In terms of sales performance, Grupo Herdez reported net sales of 9,892 million pesos in the last quarter of the year, a slight decline of 0.1 percent compared to the 9,897 million pesos recorded in Q4 2024. This indicates that despite the dip in sales, the overall profitability of the company was bolstered by other operational efficiencies and strategic market maneuvers. The firm maintains a strong presence in the mass-consumption market with well-known brands like McCormick, Doña María, Barilla, and Del Fuerte contributing to its performance.
With a robust infrastructure that includes 15 production plants and 29 distribution centers, Grupo Herdez continues to demonstrate resilience in the food sector. This strong operational capacity suggests that the company is well-positioned to leverage its market presence for future growth, maintaining a positive trend as it closes the fiscal year. As consumer demands evolve, the firm’s ability to adapt operations reflects a promising outlook for its continued dominance in the food industry in Mexico and potentially beyond.
