Terrorist Conspiracy Supported by Women, Revelation of Lashkar-e-Taiba's New Strategy in PAK
Lashkar-e-Taiba plans to establish two new training centers for women in Pakistan as part of a strategic shift towards involving women in its activities.
Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistani terrorist organization, is reportedly preparing to create two new training centers specifically for women, termed as 'Markaz'. These centers aim to provide training for various activities related to the organization. This development indicates a potential shift in the group's strategy, as it has primarily utilized its female wing for political mobilization and propaganda tasks until now.
Recent comments by the leader of the women's wing, Iffat Saeed, suggest a significant change in the organization’s plans, implying that women may soon take on roles akin to Over Ground Workers (OGWs). OGWs are individuals who do not participate directly in armed activities but serve vital roles within the organization by providing ground support, gathering information, and offering other forms of assistance. The intention to include women in this network is seen as a strategic expansion move by Lashkar-e-Taiba, aiming to broaden its operational capacity.
This development coincides with alarming threats made by senior terrorists associated with the group. The group's rhetoric includes menacing statements such as plans to instigate violence in major Indian cities, highlighting the urgent need for vigilance. As Lashkar-e-Taiba works towards integrating women into its strategies, this may bolster their activities and further complicate counter-terrorism efforts in the region.
