Break on Rain! Now the Temperature Will Rise... The Effects of Heat Will Be Seen in Delhi and These States

Weather change is expected in various parts of India, with a rise in temperatures predicted following a recent weather system that brought rain to several states including Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

In recent days, weather changes have been observed across several parts of India, triggered by a combination of a western disturbance in the mountains and cyclonic circulation in the plains. This led to rainfall in states such as Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, according to weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather. Most areas experienced light rainfall, while some regions in eastern Rajasthan and western Haryana saw significant weather activity, including hailstorms and strong winds accompanied by thunder.

After the recent weather disturbances, improvements are expected, with no strong weather systems likely influencing the remainder of February. The lack of major weather systems will begin to affect temperature changes, as clouds dissipate and sunlight becomes more intense during the day. Consequently, a rapid increase in daytime temperatures can be anticipated in these regions.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in New Delhi at Safdarjung is expected to reach 31°C by February 24. Historically, on February 20, temperatures have recorded around 27°C in Delhi. With decreasing chances of rainfall and clearer skies, residents can prepare for the onset of warmer weather in the coming days.
