The cold days are over! The temperature will rise in North India, heavy rain alert in these states
North India is expected to see a rise in temperatures as heavy rainfall is predicted for southern states, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.
In the last days of February, significant weather changes are being observed across India. While southern regions, specifically Tamil Nadu and Kerala, are bracing for heavy rain due to a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, northern states are experiencing a notable increase in temperatures. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), this shift in weather could see maximum temperatures in Northwest India rising by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next week. By the end of February, temperatures may exceed 30 degrees Celsius, with forecasts suggesting Delhi-NCR and Haryana could reach up to 33 degrees Celsius, while Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh may see temperatures reaching between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius. This unusual warmth has led meteorologist Navdeep Dahiya to issue a warning for higher temperatures late in the month.
