In a tragic incident in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, a Duster car lost control and overturned into a canal, leading to the death of three individuals who were returning from a wedding. The accident occurred near Turkpur, adjacent to the Bundelkhand Expressway, when the three occupants of the car were returning to their home in Bharatna, Etawah after attending a wedding in Dibiya Pur. Local villagers, noticing the car submerged in water with its wheels up, alerted the police about the incident. Upon receiving the distress call, a rescue operation was launched by the police and the fire brigade, with assistance from local residents. Despite their efforts to rescue the passengers, it was too late, as a woman and two men were declared dead at the scene. The local District Magistrate Indramani Tripathi and the Additional Superintendent of Police arrived promptly at the scene with a heavy police presence to manage the situation. They oversaw the operation to retrieve the car from the water using a crane, but unfortunately, the occupants were found deceased inside.
