The deceased were identified as Rahul Verma, 23, Mohammad, 23, Mohit, 22, and an unidentified young man. Rahul was a resident of Baldevgarh Mohalla and worked in tailoring, while Amit and Mohit were students, with Mohit pursuing a law degree. The car in question, with license plate UP 85 CV 9856, belonged to lawyer Sajjan Singh, who is Rahul's brother. The group had set out from Mahavan to attend an event around 6:30 to 7:00 PM on the fateful day when the accident occurred.
