Amr Saad announces the allocation of 10 million Egyptian pounds from the producers of the series 'Ifraah' for charitable works

Egyptian actor Amr Saad announced that the team behind the series 'Ifraah' will allocate 10 million Egyptian pounds for charitable causes during Ramadan.

Amr Saad, the Egyptian actor, has declared that the production team of the drama series 'Ifraah', which will air during Ramadan 2026, has decided to allocate 10 million Egyptian pounds (approximately 206,000 USD) for charitable works throughout the holy month. He emphasized that this contribution would include supporting 30 individuals in prison for debts (al-Gharamin and al-Gharimat), ensuring their conditions are monitored until their release and they can reintegrate into their families' lives.

In a video shared on his Instagram account, Saad stated that this announcement was made intentionally, as he believes it is important to highlight good deeds and positive actions. He pointed out that many advertising campaigns on social media spend excessive budgets, often surpassing millions of pounds, aiming for high interaction rates; however, he argues that these resources could be redirected to more beneficial and impactful endeavors in reality.

Saad conveyed that artistic work should transcend mere entertainment or valuable roles presented during Ramadan, and its influence can extend beyond the screen. By supporting the audience, who plays a vital role in an artist's success, he insists that this audience deserves honesty and should not be exploited for promotional gains, as is often the case in the entertainment industry.
