Infonavit increased to 14 thousand homes for Zacatecas, in the Wellbeing program
Infonavit announced an increase in its housing construction target for Zacatecas to 14,000 units as part of its Wellbeing program, requiring an investment of over 8.4 billion pesos.
Infonavit has raised its housing construction target for Zacatecas to 14,000 units as part of the Wellbeing program, according to a communication from its director general, Octavio Romero Oropeza. This increase represents a substantial investment of over 8.4 billion pesos throughout the current administration, marking a significant step in addressing the housing deficit in the region.
Romero Oropeza specified that the construction has already commenced on four housing complexes that will provide more than 3,000 homes across the municipalities of Fresnillo, Guadalupe, and Zacatecas. This initiative aims not only to enhance the availability of housing but also to stimulate local economies through construction and related activities, reflecting the government's commitment to social welfare and community development.
Additionally, the director announced the delivery of the first 45 homes from the Wellbeing program, situated in the Infonavit Ojo de Agua subdivision. Notably, this milestone follows the ground-breaking ceremony conducted by the President ten months prior, where 208 homes are being constructed, of which 154 have already been completed. This step represents progress in the government's housing initiatives and aims to ensure more families have access to adequate living conditions in Zacatecas.
