Free Charging... 60% Buyback Guarantee! e Vitara Available at This Price with Battery
Maruti Suzuki has announced the pricing for its first all-electric car, the e Vitara, which offers various purchasing options.
Maruti Suzuki has officially revealed the prices for its groundbreaking all-electric car, the Maruti e Vitara, after showcasing it at multiple auto events. The car's ex-showroom pricing starts from ₹15 lakh, going up to ₹18.79 lakh, according to dealership sources from the NCR region. This release marks a significant development for India's largest car manufacturer as it enters the electric vehicle market with a robust offering.
Initially, the e Vitara was presented under a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) scheme without a battery, priced from ₹10.99 lakh. Customers had the option to rent the battery at ₹3.99 per kilometer. This unique model aimed to reduce the upfront cost of purchasing the vehicle. However, the company has now provided a complete pricing list, allowing consumers to purchase the e Vitara with a battery included, broadening the choices available to potential buyers.
The Maruti e Vitara will be available in three variants: Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. The entry-level Delta variant features a 49kWh battery, catering to different consumer preferences and budget ranges. This strategic move by Maruti Suzuki not only accelerates its electric aspirations but also reflects the growing demand for electric vehicles in the Indian market, amid increasing environmental concerns and government incentives for greener technologies.
