Annual Income of Each Person in Madhya Pradesh is ₹1.69 Lakh
The annual average income for each individual in Madhya Pradesh has reached ₹1.69 lakh, reflecting significant economic growth in the state as presented in its recent economic survey.
Madhya Pradesh's economic survey for the financial year 2025-26 was unveiled in the state assembly, where Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that this report exemplifies both the state's robust economic condition and its commitment to inclusive development. According to the survey, Madhya Pradesh's economy is not only accelerating rapidly but also setting new benchmarks in growth.
Key figures from the survey reveal a substantial rise in the state's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and per capita income. The projected GSDP for Madhya Pradesh is estimated at ₹16,69,750 crore, showcasing an impressive growth rate of 11.14% compared to the previous year. The per capita net income has dramatically increased from merely ₹38,497 in 2011-12 to ₹1,69,050 per annum, highlighting a significant enhancement in the standard of living for the state's residents.
Additionally, the state is currently positioned with a revenue surplus of ₹2,618 crore, although the fiscal deficit is predicted to be 4.66% of the GSDP. The survey details performance across various sectors, indicating which sectors are the strongest contributors to this economic upsurge, fostering hope for sustainable development in Madhya Pradesh.
