DETH-HELEXPO: Advisory Committee Established with the Participation of Presidents from 6 Top Production Organizations

The DETH-HELEXPO Board of Directors has established a new Advisory Committee to enhance collaboration with key productive forces in Thessaloniki and Northern Greece.

In a strategic move during its recent meeting, the Board of Directors of DETH-HELEXPO A.E. has decided to establish an Advisory Committee alongside approving its Operational Regulation. This initiative symbolizes a significant step for the national exhibition body, opening a new phase of close cooperation with the productive forces of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece. The formation of the Committee indicates a commitment to align more closely with local stakeholders and enhance the economic landscape of the region.

One notable aspect of this new Advisory Committee is its establishment at the highest possible level, incorporating the Presidents of six major production organizations along with the Chief Executive of SETE (the Greek Tourism Confederation). This provides the committee with considerable authority and weight, as it seeks to address the challenges and opportunities of the exhibition sector. The selection of such high-level representatives reflects an intention to safeguard the interests of the industries involved and promote robust dialogue between public and private sectors.

The members of the Advisory Committee, appointed for a four-year term, include prominent figures such as Ioannis Mathiotis, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki, and other notable leaders in the region’s economic framework. This collaboration may bring forth innovative ideas and initiatives, potentially strengthening Thessaloniki’s position as a vital economic hub in Greece and enhancing its exhibition holdings as well as regional growth through improved partnerships and strategic planning.
