A devastating fire occurred last Sunday in a residential property located in the Jonava district of Lithuania around 5 PM. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire may have started due to a malfunction in the electrical wiring, though investigations are still ongoing. The flames quickly spread throughout the entire wooden one-story house, and by the time firefighters arrived, the home was engulfed in open flames.

Fortunately, the family managed to escape without injury, but they were left to watch their belongings, which included construction materials, furniture, household appliances, and important documents, consumed by the fire. Tragically, the family's pet cat did not survive the incident. The firefighting efforts were further complicated by the need to transport water from a source 17 kilometers away, as the emergency vehicles had run out of water.
