A speeding motorist on the M6 motorway, identified as Stuart Wilson, was apprehended by police after he was observed driving at 100 mph. As officers approached him, Wilson exhibited signs of nervousness and anxiety, leading them to suspect that something was amiss. Upon questioning, he inquired whether he would be going to jail and indicated that there was something in the boot of his vehicle, although he claimed uncertainty about its nature.

Upon conducting a search, police discovered an astonishing 25kg of cocaine concealed in a box within the boot of Wilson's grey BMW. The estimated street value of the cocaine was around £2.5 million. Authorities arrested the 33-year-old on the scene, and he was later charged with possession with intent to supply the illegal substance. Following an appearance in court at Preston Crown Court on February 5, Wilson pleaded guilty to the charges against him and was sentenced to five years in prison.
