A 55-year-old man was shot in the leg on the evening of Monday, October 16, in the Jardim das Acácias neighborhood of Porto Real, Brazil. According to the Military Police, they were alerted and arrived at the Municipal Hospital of Porto Real following reports of a shooting. The man, who was with his son at the time of the incident, told police that a group of suspects fired several shots in another group's direction. He did not manage to identify the assailants.

The victim realized he had been struck in the leg only after the shooting occurred. Emergency medical services were called, and the man was taken to the Municipal Hospital where he is being monitored under medical observation. Fortunately, authorities have stated that he is not in life-threatening condition.

The incident has been registered at the Porto Real police station, which is currently handling the investigation.
