Bihar Board Matriculation Exam Begins Today, 1.5 Million Students to Take Exam at 1699 Centers
The Bihar Board of Secondary Education has commenced the matriculation exams today, with over 1.5 million students registered to participate across 1699 exam centers in the state.
The Bihar Board of Secondary Education (BSEB) has officially launched the matriculation (10th grade) exams today across the entire state of Bihar. This year, extensive preparations have been made to ensure smooth conduct of the exams, which are being held under strict safety and monitoring conditions. A total of 15,12,687 students registered for the exams, comprising 7,85,726 girls and 7,26,961 boys, who will be seated at 1699 exam centers established across Bihar.
The examinations are scheduled to be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the second shift will run from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. To facilitate the administration of the exams, students are required to enter their respective exam centers starting from 8:30 AM for the first shift, with entry permitted only until 9:00 AM. Additionally, the entrances to the exam centers will close half an hour before the exams commence to maintain order and punctuality.
This year's matriculation exams are significant not only because of the large number of students involved but also due to the intensive preparations and security measures taken by BSEB.
