On Monday, multiple traffic accidents took place across Finland, notably in the North Ostrobothnia region. In Liminka, two individuals sustained serious injuries when a personal vehicle collided with a turning truck and ended up on the opposite lane. In addition to the Liminka incident, another accident in Iisä resulted in six people sustaining minor injuries in a collision at an intersection involving two cars. The Turku ring road also witnessed a significant accident involving 12 vehicles; fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Initial investigations suggested that one vehicle struck a barrier, causing it to bend into oncoming traffic, which raised concerns regarding road safety.
