Soludo, monarch urge Ndigbo to invest in South-East
Anambra State officials are encouraging the Igbo community to invest in their home region during a recent estate groundbreaking ceremony.
Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Igwe Chidubem Iweka, the traditional ruler of Obosi Kingdom, have stressed the importance of the Igbo community (Ndigbo) investing back in the South East of Nigeria. This emphasis came during the groundbreaking ceremony of Raphmaths Seaview Estate in Amansea, where they called for more investments to contribute to local economic growth. They highlighted the impact that homegrown investments could have on the region's development and prosperity.
In his remarks, Governor Soludo, represented by Deputy Governor Onyekachukwu Ibezim, addressed issues surrounding land acquisition, stating that his administration is committed to combatting land grabbing within the state. He assured potential investors that those engaged in legitimate real estate development have nothing to fear when investing in Anambra and that the government is dedicated to fostering a secure investment climate.
The event also celebrated Chief Raphael Ojiribe, the CEO of Raphmaths Estates, for his commitment to investing in Anambra and Delta States. The officials urged other members of the Igbo community to follow his example and contribute positively to their roots, emphasizing that the growth of the South East relies significantly on the investments of its people.
