A leader of the Samajwadi Party tragically lost his life in a road accident in Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh, when a heavy electricity pole fell on his car. The incident occurred while a crane was in the process of installing the pole, during which the crane's strap broke, causing the pole to collapse onto the driver's side of the vehicle.
