Rare Diseases Festival - 'Every Day Rare'

The first Rare Diseases Festival titled 'Every Day Rare' will take place from February 26 to March 1 in Athens, highlighting the lives of those with rare conditions through art and culture.

For the first time in Greece, a unique festival titled 'Every Day Rare' will bridge the gap between rare diseases and culture, offering a platform dedicated to individuals living with rare conditions. This inaugural event will be held from February 26 to March 1 at the Municipal Gallery of Athens, showcasing the daily challenges and strengths of those affected by rare diseases through artistic expressions.

Organized by the Association '95', which is part of the Alliance for Rare Patients, and under the aegis of the Municipality of Athens, the festival strives to foster a multi-dimensional dialogue around rare diseases. With the support of the Organization for the Promotion of Culture and Development (OPANDA), the festival aims to empower affected individuals and raise societal awareness through cultural engagement.

The President of Association '95', Mary Adamopoulou, expressed her excitement in announcing this festival as an open invitation for society to engage with and support individuals facing rare health conditions. This initiative not only aims to celebrate the uniqueness of these individuals but also to create a community dialogue that highlights their stories and shared experiences.
