A 32-year-old man died after being electrocuted while attempting to reconnect electricity at his home in southern Espírito Santo, Brazil.
A tragic incident occurred in the rural area of São José do Calçado, Espírito Santo, where a 32-year-old man, Ascendino Cravinho de Carvalho Júnior, suffered a fatal electric shock. The incident happened on the night of Saturday, October 14, as he climbed a post to restore power to his residence. Reports indicate that during his attempt, he came into contact with a live electrical wire, leading to the electric shock.
Emergency services, including the local police and Fire Department, were alerted after the tragic accident. Workers from the electricity distribution company EDP were also called to the scene to safely cut off electricity to the area, allowing for a secure rescue effort. Despite the intervention of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), the man unfortunately did not survive the electrical shock he sustained.
