A tragic incident occurred in João Pessoa on Sunday, where a 40-year-old man was electrocuted while attempting to repair a water pump at a residential complex. The accident took place around 12:15 PM when he was working on the roof of a house within the gated community. Emergency services, including the military firefighters and the mobile emergency service (Samu), were promptly called to the scene but unfortunately, the victim was declared dead on-site.

The authorities, including the military firefighters and the police, arrived shortly after they were alerted. Upon reaching the location, they found that the man's body had to be retrieved from the roof by the firefighters. This unfortunate event highlights the dangers associated with electrical repairs, particularly in residential settings where proper safety measures might not have been in place.
