CNT Enables 5G Network in Manta

The National Telecommunications Corporation (CNT) has officially launched its high-speed 5G network in Manta, the capital city of the ManabΓ province in Ecuador. This new service is now available in specific areas around the city, as confirmed by a public statement from the CNT. With the installation of seven 5G antennas, the company aims to provide improved internet speeds, reduced latency, and a more stable connection for users in these areas.
Initially, the coverage includes strategic urban areas of high activity, such as the city's center, Manta University, the Manta 2000 housing complex, Howard Johnson Plaza and Santa Fe hotels, as well as Tarqui and the western neighborhoods of Manta. The CNT explained that this deployment is only the first phase in enhancing the cityβs digital connectivity, which is expected to evolve as demand increases.
