Program: Four Latvian millionaires have purchased a building in Kronvalda Park from the Riga Freeport
Four Latvian millionaires are revealed to be the financiers behind the recent purchase of a building located in Kronvalda Park from the Riga Freeport, which has raised concerns about potential exclusive developments.
The building in Kronvalda Park, belonging to the Riga Freeport, was sold a year ago, and its new owner was selected through an auction process. This glass structure, positioned right by the City Canal, was purchased by a company that nobody knew at the time. There were concerns that the establishment could be transformed into a luxury residential building featuring extensive parking and a private yacht dock, which might disrupt the tranquility of visitors to the park. Recently, it has come to light that the purchase was financed by four well-known entrepreneurs from Latvia, who perceive this financial move as a valuable investment, although they have not disclosed their future plans for the property.
