Man is shot dead after being attacked by two suspects in the North Zone of Macapá

A man was shot and killed by two assailants outside his girlfriend's house in Macapá's North Zone.

In the early hours of Saturday, October 14, a 31-year-old man identified as Anderson Cley Rodrigues Gibson was fatally shot in front of his girlfriend's home in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood of Macapá, Brazil. Eyewitness accounts provided to the police indicate that two suspects arrived at the scene and began firing at Gibson, hitting him multiple times in the torso before fleeing the area.

The response to the incident was swift as teams from the 2nd Battalion of the Military Police and the Fire Department were dispatched. Additionally, the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to the scene and confirmed Gibson's death. The crime scene was subsequently investigated by the Amapá Scientific Police, which also facilitated the removal of the deceased's body for further examination.

As of now, the police have not disclosed any details regarding the capture of the suspects involved in this brazen shooting. The case is currently under investigation by the Civil Police of Amapá, with authorities working to establish a motive and apprehend those responsible for this crime, which has raised concerns regarding public safety in the area.
