During the day, clouds will mix with sunshine while light snow is expected in some areas. Despite the cold, the maximum temperatures are predicted to rise slightly during the day to about -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, with eastern regions seeing temperatures between -6 and -11 degrees Celsius. The carrying winds will remain gentle, ensuring that visibility may be reduced due to mist in some areas.
In the capital, Riga, cloudy weather is expected during the night, with some clearing of the skies at times, but no precipitation is anticipated. The temperature in the city is expected to drop to around -13 to -15 degrees Celsius, slightly lower in suburban areas. On Monday daytime, the sun is expected to shine intermittently through the clouds, ensuring a dry day despite the persistent chill.
