In the early hours of Saturday, October 14, a fire occurred at the Nossa Senhora da Saúde Parish in Juruti, located in the western region of Pará, Brazil. The fire impacted the parish's administrative office, leading to the destruction of vital historical and administrative documents that are significant to the church's operations. According to a statement released by the parish, local residents noticed unusual noises outside and promptly alerted authorities about the blaze.

Upon inspection, parish officials found extensive damage, including a destroyed ceiling, opened cabinets, and documents strewn across the floor, as well as the missing donation box from the Rainha da Paz Community. Investigations revealed that the fire originated in a room behind the reception area, which previously served as an archive. In a community effort, residents attempted to extinguish the flames using hoses and fire extinguishers until the arrival of the Military Police, Municipal Guard, and the Alcoa Firefighting Brigade, who assisted in controlling the situation.
