Four adult survivors from the shipwreck of the Lima de Abreu XV boat at Encontro das Águas have been released from the hospital, while one patient remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Four adult survivors of the Lima de Abreu XV boat shipwreck at Encontro das Águas in Manaus have been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment from the state health network, according to the Amazonas State Health Department. They underwent clinical evaluation and tests following their rescue. Currently, a fifth patient remains hospitalized but is in stable condition. Overall, they represent a part of the 71 survivors from the tragic incident that took place last Friday, which resulted in two fatalities, including a child and a 22-year-old woman, with seven more individuals reported missing.

The shipwreck occurred around 12:30 PM last Friday when the transport boat, operated by Lima de Abreu Navegações, capsized after departing from Manaus en route to Nova Olinda do Norte. Following the incident, emergency services and local authorities rapidly mobilized to conduct rescue operations in the Encontro das Águas region, where the boat sank. Eyewitness accounts and videos obtained show numerous people, including children, in the water during the chaotic scene.

As the situation develops, the search continues for the seven individuals who remain missing, and the authorities are working to provide support and assistance to the victims' families.
