DHL Express Ecuador is embarking on a significant expansion plan, investing approximately $190,000 to enhance its operational footprint in the country. The company anticipates opening six new service points by 2026, with a focus on enhancing connectivity for small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs, and families throughout Ecuador.

The expansion will take place in key cities including Guayaquil, Quito, Machala, and Cuenca. As part of this initiative, the first of the planned six service points was inaugurated in Cuenca on February 11, marking the second location in this capital city of Azuay province. José Antonio Gilbert, the commercial director of DHL Express Ecuador, highlighted the company's commitment to becoming a strategic ally for the local business community and families by connecting them to international opportunities and supporting their growth.
