Literacy program for adults and seniors is open for registration in Cuiabá
The SoleTRE literacy program, organized by the Regional Electoral Court of Mato Grosso, is open for free registration for young adults and seniors in Cuiabá with limited spots available.
The SoleTRE literacy program, facilitated by the Regional Electoral Court of Mato Grosso (TRE-MT), is currently accepting registrations for a literacy initiative aimed at young adults and seniors in Cuiabá. The program offers 60 free spots and classes are set to begin on February 24, taking place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 AM to 11 AM. The venue for the classes is the Electoral Judicial School of Mato Grosso (EJE-MT), located at the Democracy House, next to the TRE-MT in the Political Administrative Center of Cuiabá.
This year marks the 8th edition of the program, which has been conducted voluntarily by electoral justice servers alongside partner organizations. It has a successful history since its inception in 2019, having already empowered approximately 200 individuals through basic literacy education. Classes are scheduled to continue through the first semester until July 30, with registration available until March 10.
The program not only aims to improve literacy among young adults and seniors but also reflects the ongoing commitment of the Electoral Court to enhance civic engagement and education within the community. By providing access to free educational resources, it serves as an important step toward fostering inclusivity and empowerment for marginalized groups within Cuiabá.
