Fuel Prices Rise in Tallinn and Vilnius, But Remain Stable in Riga

While fuel prices have increased in Vilnius and Tallinn, they have remained unchanged in Riga over the past week.

At the end of the working week, fuel price comparisons show that Vilnius has the highest price for both gasoline and diesel. In comparison, Riga ranks second and Tallinn third. As of Friday, the price for 95-octane gasoline and diesel in Riga remained unchanged from the previous week, both costing €1.534 per liter. This stability stands out against the rising prices in both neighboring cities.

In Vilnius, the prices at a 'Circle K' filling station saw an increase of 2.6% for 95-octane gasoline, which is now €1.564 per liter. Diesel prices also rose by 1.5%, reaching €1.699 per liter. This upward trend in Vilnius showcases the dynamics of the fuel market and suggests potential implications for economic conditions in Lithuania.

Meanwhile, in Tallinn, 95-octane gasoline prices have risen by 1.4% to €1.489 per liter, with diesel also increasing by 2.4%, currently priced at €1.464 per liter. The price of autogas in Riga remained stable as well, holding at €0.935 per liter, contrasting with price increases noted in Vilnius. This situation raises questions about the differing economic situations and fuel pricing strategies in the three Baltic capitals.
