On February 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first highway emergency landing facility in Dibrugarh, Assam. This facility is designed to allow military aircraft to land on highways in case of emergencies, thereby enhancing the operational flexibility of the Indian Air Force. The Prime Minister himself demonstrated its utility by landing an Indian Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft at this new facility.
