On Friday, the Federal Police (PF) of Brazil initiated an operation to investigate the misappropriation of public funds intended for infrastructure work on unpaved sections of BR-156 in Amapá. Federal Deputy Vinícius Gurgel, associated with the Liberal Party (PL-AP), is among the primary targets of this operation, which underscores the ongoing issues of corruption in Brazilian politics.
