North and Paradise Routes shorten distance and reduce travel time to the coast
The newly improved North and Paradise routes in Piauí, Brazil, offer quicker travel options for residents heading to popular coastal destinations.
As the Carnival holiday approaches, many residents of Piauí have begun planning their trips to the state's beautiful coastline, which features popular beaches like Barra Grande, Atalaia, and Morro Branco. The state's Department of Roads has upgraded the highways leading to these areas, significantly improving access and travel times. Director Leo Sobral has encouraged travelers to utilize the new North and Paradise routes, which are designated to provide a more efficient journey to the coast.
The Paradise Route encompasses state roads PI 301 and PI 309, starting from the junction at BR-343 in Cocal. This route allows travelers to navigate through the center of the city before connecting with the BR-402 near Cajueiro da Praia. Additionally, the enhancements made to these roadways aim to ensure safer and more enjoyable journeys, adapting to the increased demand during peak travel times such as Carnival.
The improvements and the promotion of these routes reflect a broader effort to bolster local tourism in Piauí, encouraging more residents and tourists to explore its natural beauty and contributing to the economic growth driven by travel and hospitality sectors. As travelers head to some of the state’s most sought-after beaches, the government’s investment in infrastructure aims not only to support local tourism but also to enhance the overall travel experience for everyone.
