Firefighters highlighted multiple areas affected, including Carcelén, Carapungo, Solca, San Isidro del Inca, Tumbaco, and Amaguaña, with significant water accumulation leading to personal property damages for some residents. Despite the disruptions, fortunately, there were no reported injuries in the affected areas.
Emergency services, in collaboration with municipal entities, rapidly coordinated cleanup efforts, deploying heavy machinery to clear the affected regions. Their response included draining accumulated water, removing debris, and providing humanitarian assistance to the residents impacted by the flooding. The affected areas reported a total of 13 instances of flooding, two cases of overflowing streams, and two landslides as a result of the severe weather.
