[Exclusive] The Cost for Using Gwanghwamun Square for the BTS Concert is 30 Million Won
The cost for using Gwanghwamun Square for BTS's comeback concert has been set at 30 million won for the week.
BTS's agency has confirmed that the cost for using Gwanghwamun Square for a week-long concert event is approximately 30 million won. This marks the first time a specific artist will hold a solo concert at this public space. According to a city official on the 20th, the fee that HYBE (BTS's management company) will pay for the square's use exceeds 30 million won slightly. The city charges 10 won per square meter per hour during the day and 13 won during nighttime, based on local ordinances governing the use and management of Gwanghwamun Square. This fee is significantly lower than what is typically charged for large concert venues, reflecting the square's status as an open public space meant for community activities and cultural events.
