A shocking incident was recorded on a security camera in Manaus, Brazil, where a driver lost a finger after opening the door of his parked vehicle just as a bus was passing by. The incident took place in the Zumbi dos Palmares neighborhood, which is located in the East Zone of the city. The footage shows the car parked near the sidewalk, with the driver failing to notice the approaching bus and opening the door, resulting in a collision that caused significant injury to his hand.

According to the Union of Passenger Transport Companies of Amazonas State (Sinetram), the bus was operating on its regular route at the time of the accident, emphasizing that the driver of the car failed to check for oncoming traffic before opening the door. The bus struck the door, leading to the severe injury, which resulted in the amputation of one of the driver’s fingers. Following the incident, the circumstances surrounding the accident are now under investigation.
