The 'Sou Legal' block organized by the Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional People (Apae) will take place on Friday, the 13th, at Praça Dom Malan in downtown Petrolina. This traditional carnival block aims to promote inclusion and celebrate diversity, expecting to gather over 300 participants. The event is an important reminder of the importance of accessibility and community engagement in festive celebrations.

This year’s carnival block will feature vibrant music from local entertainers such as Frevuca and the Orquestra do Bolinha, ensuring that the atmosphere is lively and joyful. The initiative not only provides a chance for individuals with disabilities to enjoy the festivities but also invites students from other schools to join, emphasizing a unified community spirit during the carnival celebrations.

As part of the effort to ensure accessibility, the Pernambuco state government's 'Pernambuco Conduz' project will provide transportation for interested wheelchair users, highlighting a commitment to making the event as inclusive as possible.
