A 31-year-old doctor is accused of sexually abusing an 18-year-old woman at a clinic in the Santa Efigênia neighborhood of Belo Horizonte. The alleged incident occurred while the victim was undergoing a transvaginal ultrasound that was not outlined in her medical request. After the victim initially received an abdominal examination due to stomach pain, the doctor proceeded with the ultrasound inappropriately, which raised serious concerns about professional conduct.

According to the victim's report, the incident escalated as the doctor reportedly committed the abuse after the ultrasound despite her immediate attempts to rise from the examining table. Alarmingly, after the examination, the doctor allegedly attempted to further engage in inappropriate behavior by inviting the victim to leave the door open when she exited the consultation room. The young woman, feeling threatened and violated, sought assistance and promptly contacted the Military Police for support.
