Banks announce changes to working hours on Monday and which services will not be provided

Banks in Lithuania will alter their working hours and service availability on February 16 due to the holiday, advising customers to complete payments before February 13.

Lithuanian banks have released an announcement regarding changes to their operating hours and service offerings on February 16, a public holiday. Notably, euro (SEPA) transfers and other currency transactions to both domestic and international banks will not be processed on this day. Customers are encouraged to conduct any monetary transactions by February 13 at 16:00, as any payments made after this deadline will only be processed on the next business day, February 17.

Despite the holiday, online banking services and ATMs will function normally, and customers can refer to the bank's website for specific transaction timelines. It is also highlighted that regular euro (SEPA) transfers and currency transactions to other banks are not carried out on weekends or public holidays, which is a standard practice that clients are reminded to follow.

In addition to transaction adjustments, the working hours of customer service centers will be altered. Customer service centers will remain closed on February 16, except for the one located at the Å iauliai Akropolis, which will serve clients from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The call center will be unavailable on this day, thus customers needing assistance outside of standard hours are urged to plan accordingly.
