Governor Maru Campos presided over the 7th Follow-up Meeting of the Pact for Development and Prosperity of the State of Chihuahua, attended by over 30 business leaders and commerce chamber representatives. The meeting, held at the Red Room of the Government Palace, emphasized the collaborative progress made toward the local economic development objectives set forth in the 2021 agenda.
During the meeting, Jorge Cruz and Ernesto Hermosillo reported that as of January 2026, the compliance rate for the initiatives across 67 municipalities reached 89.9%. This progress reflects the successful implementation of key pillars that promote Competitiveness and Development, Social Wellbeing, and Efficient Governance. The high compliance percentage indicates a robust engagement from local sector leaders and stakeholders in fulfilling the commitments of the pact.
The attendees recognized the ongoing challenges facing the state and the need to prioritize projects for 2026 accordingly.
