Maru Campos supervises progress of the Pact for Development and Prosperity of the state of Chihuahua
Governor Maru Campos reviewed the progress of the Pact for Development and Prosperity in Chihuahua, highlighting a 89.9% compliance rate towards the goals set for economic and social development in the state.
Governor Maru Campos led the seventh follow-up meeting of the Pact for Development and Prosperity of the State of Chihuahua 2021-2027, attended by over 30 business leaders and representatives from local chambers of commerce. The meeting took place in the Red Room of the State Government Palace, where Campos emphasized the positive outcomes achieved through collaborative efforts among various sectors.
Jorge Cruz and Ernesto Hermosillo, representatives from local economic development organizations, reported that as of the last assessment in January 2026, there has been an impressive 89.9% compliance rate concerning the agenda established in 2021. This figure reflects the concrete initiatives executed across the 67 municipalities of Chihuahua, which focus on key areas such as competitiveness, development, social well-being, and governance efficiency.
During the meeting, participants acknowledged the challenges currently faced by the state and expressed plans to prioritize specific objectives for 2026. This strategic approach aims to ensure continued progress in the economic landscape and the overall quality of life within Chihuahua, marking a significant commitment to the ongoing development efforts spearheaded by the government and business community.
