A premium Murray Grey bull, named Rama, bred in the southwest of Buenos Aires Province, has achieved the prestigious title of World Champion in an international competition that gathered the finest specimens of the breed worldwide. This accolade was awarded to Rama, belonging to La Trinidad Ranch, owned by the Picco family, whose facilities are spread across Cañuelas, Bordenave, and Darregueira in the Puan district of Buenos Aires. The competition acknowledged Rama's outstanding qualities, setting him apart among other global contenders.

The Champions of the World Competition, organized by the Canadian platform Orb Breede, aims to identify top champions from major livestock exhibitions globally, including renowned events such as Palermo. The rigorous selection process began in September 2025, leading to the recent conclusion where Rama triumphed over bulls from various continents, including those from Australia, the breed's country of origin.
