The main cattle breeds are already a fixture of the mega-show

Cattle breeders showcased various bovine breeds at Expoagro, emphasizing their contributions to Argentine meat production through exhibitions and culinary experiences.

Expoagro has become a pivotal event for cattle breeders in Argentina, serving as a platform for showcasing genetic advancements and technical knowledge in livestock production. Major bovine breeds such as Angus, Hereford, Brangus, Braford, Brahman, Senepol, Limousin, and Sanga participated to highlight their roles in the Argentine agricultural landscape. Each breed presented unique proposals, fostering greater public engagement with the cattle industry.

Braford's initiative to host the "Expo Braford Avanza" within Expoagro featured around 120 animals, underscoring the significance of this breed in the national context. This addition to the expo not only showcased livestock but also emphasized the importance of breed-specific events in drawing attention to Argentine cattle farming and production. It represents a trend where individual breeds seek to promote their unique qualities and contributions to meat production directly to consumers.

Additionally, the Argentinian Brangus Association reopened the "Brangus Patio" during the event, merging top-tier culinary experiences with cattle exhibitions. They introduced the "Ruta Brangus" project in collaboration with renowned chefs to enhance understanding of the beef supply chain. This initiative aims to educate the public on the value of beef from field to plate through various gastronomic and educational experiences, set to launch in the upcoming spring, further weaving culinary traditions into the agricultural narrative in Argentina.
