Theft of 3 million rupees from an empty house in Indore
A theft of 30 lakh rupees worth of jewelry occurred at an unoccupied house in Indore while the owners were away.
In the Bhanganga police jurisdiction of Indore, a significant theft took place in Daggar Mohalla, targeting an empty house. The homeowners, Vinod Yadav and his family, were away for a pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi when the perpetrators broke into their residence. Utilizing tools to pick locks, the robbers accessed the home and rummaged through cupboards, making off with valuables.
The culprits are reported to have stolen gold and silver jewelry, with the total worth estimated at around 30 lakh rupees. The incident has raised concerns among local residents regarding security in the area, especially since it occurred while the family was away for an extended period.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, aiming to identify the suspects and recover the stolen items. Local police are encouraging residents to be more vigilant and report any suspicious activities, as incidents of theft can increase during times when people travel for religious observances or vacations.
